I DONT KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE GAME BUT----MAYBE THIS WILL HELP FIGURE OUT THE MAJOR PROBLEM----- OR NOT. OBVIOUSLY ONE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO INSTALL AN OS .............

View other posts by this member. | Posted - 8 March 2010 6:23  More information is needed before anything can be done. Like service pack 1, 2 or 3, did you reinstall directx 9.0c and .NET 2.0, did you reinstall your video card drivers, and so on? Just saying it don't work doesn't help us at all.

You see how difficult it is now to pinpoint a cause for an individual issue with regards to the game. You obviously had some other major issue that was hindering the operation of your system, and a full reinstall was the required fix. I don't believe that an operating system reload was necessarily the fix for the game issue, but rather removed whatever phantom issue was at the root of the problem, whether malware, virus or the like. It's not the desired fix in most cases, but unfortunately, sometimes the only one. Again, glad you're back
